Woman of my Life
by Ernest Anthony A. Baello III

Her face, so enchanting, a day has begun,
I see her picture, bright as the sun.
And as I prepare, for yet another day,
I whisper to myself, and softly pray,
that I may meet her again, today.

As the day rolls by, work is a grind,
And her vivid image, enters my mind.
And I cherish the moment, the love that ignites,
For the woman of my heart, my world, and my life.

And when we meet, I leave this place,
To a land of utopia, perfection and grace,
And together we stay, we talk, and we laugh,
Mylove, my life, my significant other half.
The part that completes me,
That takes me away,
from the troubles and trials, of this world of decay
Her love, not yet mine, promises of the time,
When my life becomes brighter, forever, it will be fine.

But the moment must end, and back to reality I be,
We part for now, but meet again will we,
And one fine day, we will meet, and never will we part,
The day that we join, the time I have won her heart.

Angel
by Jimi Hendrix
adopted by Herm

Angel came down
From heaven yesterday
She stayed with me
just long enough to rescue me
And she told me
a story yesterday
about the sweet love
between the moon and the deep blue sea
And then she spread her wings
high over me
And she said she’s gonna come back
tomorrow

I said, "Fly on my sweet Angel,
fly on through the sky
fly on my sweet Angel
tomorrow I’m gonna be
by your side."

Dark and Bright
by Chaos Lace

Darkness surrounds me in the light
No hope of renewal for all living
No more peace and serenity on earth
Nothing for the next generation

But in the twilight of the skies
A twinkle of light streaks in the air
There in the edge of the horizon
Comes the mighty deliverer
Blowing darkness away from the land.

Life Without You
by SRV

Well hello baby
Tell me how have you been
We all have missed you
And the way you grin
The day is necessary
Every now and then
For souls to move on
Giving life back again
Fly on, fly on
Go on, live again, love again

Day after day
Night after night
Second guessin’ every minute
As the years go passing by
Bye, bye, bye
Alarmed if in the mirror
We come face to face
Wishing all the love
Love we took for granted
Lord we had today

Cause life without you
All the love you passed our way
The angels have waited for so long
Now they have their way
Take your place...

Flowing Rivers
by Jopex

Rivers flowing down my head
Thinkin’ about what I said
Waiting til your body’s dead
Rivers flowing colored red

Stained hands uplift you
Emotions run through
As blades often do
Covers you as the grass grew

The end is near between you and me
Buried deep under the sea
Strong waves now subsides
Flowing rivers dries

And So She Says
by the Saint

So, you had it again?
When are you going to learn?

You say you started out nice, got to know her well.
She also got to know you well
But you decided to know her better,
and she to know you better, too.

You started to act the way
you want her to feel, slowly, carefully,
like everything was planned from the beginning.

You had nothing but good intentions
good dreams, good thoughts.
Who would ever think they would be rejected? right?

She said she enjoyed you,
as a matter of fact, like you,
in the binding threshold
of friendship

You can’t change her mind.
What? You can’t change yours either?

You say you love her
she says, she loves you as a friend

You’re crying again
No, it’s not wrong for a to man to cry
But this is not the thing to cry about
Stand up. Gather yourself. Continue living.
Life is good.

A New Day
by Xyris

The morning comes anew for me,
Each time I wake, its your face I see,
With a smile so bright that it sets me free;
From the heavy chains which bind me to worry.

I breathe in deeply, take in the air,
Though I see nothing, I feel you there,
I think of your face, your skin so fair,
Search then my person and not a care.

The sunlight brings warmth to comfort my being
And beneath the glare, it’s still you I’m seeing
Your mouth, your cheeks, your eyes brightly sparkling
A visage full of love, that leaves me shivering

Why, I am wondering, do I feel this way
Why does it feel like a new life instead of pist a day,
Can I ignore this curiosity the answer it nay,
I’ll think about it more so back in bed I lay.

I sit up, snap my fingers, I just got a clue -
It’s really so easy, the possibilities are few
I feel something in my heart, I know its true,
The reason I’m so happy is that I love you!

From Lustra
by Ezra Pound

And the days are not full enough
And the nights are not full enough
And life slips by like a field mouse

When
by Jopex

When walls come crashing down
and life just seems unfair
When tears fall down like rain
and no one seems to care

When the tide seems against you
and all you do is despair
When you fall, I’ll catch you
Don’t worry, I’ll be there

Never mind the rain when it pours
or when the sun doesn’t shine
Never mind the storm when it comes
I’m always here behind
...for you

Let it grow
by Slowhand

Standing at the crossroads
Trying to read the signs
To tell me which way I should go
To find an answer
And all the time I know
Plant your love and let it grow

Looking for a reason
To check out on my mind
Trying hard to get a friend
That I can count on
But there’s nothing left to show
Plant your love and let it grow

Time is getting shorter
There’s much for you to do
Only ask and you will get
What you are needing
The rest is up to you
Plant your love and let it grow

Let it grow, let it grow
Let it blossom, let it flow
In the sun, the rain, the snow
Love is lovely, let it grow
