Mark
Gamis

Oh yes him! Why would we forget him?
He's got to be the guy. Why, who could this guy
be? Well, he's just one of the most athletic guys
of Garnet `98 -- Mark Gamis. He's called Mark or
Gamsi in class. But behind this short name, is a
long list of great things he can do. He's a hot
shot at almost anything. Name a sport, and he's
in the team. He's a tough guy when it comes to
the court.
But still, behind this athletic image, lies a
gentleman's soul. And he's still one of the many
guys who just says a word and the next thing you
know, the class is laughing.
He's also a guy at academics. You see him at a
corner, studying, then next he's answering a
difficult question. Not to mention his sharp
memory and his perfect scores at Math long tests.

Celsus
Kintanar

Here he is... Celsus of Garnet `98!
He is a real cool guy with a very good sense of
humor. A computer genius and a mathematician, he
is sometimes kind of weird. But mind you, he
really has the brains.
He is a responsible and humble scholar. He knows
how to be honest, everbody notices that. He is
also friendly and easy to go with. Two other
things which make him stand out from the rest are
his accent and terminology.
"So bale", Celsus' name suits him. A
unique name for a unique Garnetian.

Julius
Maravilla

Julius is a good classmate. He would
always give a helping hand. He's always ready to
help others in their lessons. He can be funny at
times and very serious when needed.
He goes to the library often (a nerd?) His
efforts in studying pays off during tests. He
gets high marks. He is one of the friendliest
people in Garnet. Even if you wanted to write
something bad about him in this yearbook, there
isn't anything to write against him.
A true friend, that's Julius.

Joshua
Garcia

For some unknown reason, Joshua
seems to be the object of teases, But one thing
admirable about him is that he doesn't seem to
mind them. Often called the BoogerMan, this small
guy is actually very kind and approachable. He is
known for his simplicity.
Determined to learn more, Joshua is a patient
student. He never stops until he's sure he knows
the lesson well enough. It wouldn't be a surprise
if he becomes a great scientist and mathematician
that would help his countrymen.

Lorenzo
Fernando Lorilla

If there is one thing Renzo is
addicted to, it is the guitar. You name it, he
can play it on the spot. Not only can he play the
guitar, but he can play the piano and sing as
well. This guy is really into music.
Besides being musically inclined, he is also good
in Math. He's so good that he only gets one or
two mistakes on those super hard long tests. (Now
that's what we call a nerd!) But in spite his
high grades, he never forgets to give a helping
hand.
This Renzo is also quite sports-minded. He's an
athletic guy who can shoot quite a number of
shots at the ring. And if there was one thing the
Renzo is very, very good at, it is bugging other
people. But whoever he may be, this Garnetian
will always be our very own. That's our guy!
That's our Renzo!

Michelangelo
Olivares

Aside from being the Gentleman of
the Year awardee in our class, Michelangelo is
also a Social Science wizard. Mic-mic, as he is
called, can get a flat one in a thought provoking
Soc. Sci. long test. A soft-spoken guy, Mic-mic
is much closer to the Garnet girls than the other
boys.
He's a classmate from whom you can copy your
subject's lectures and even homework! A guy with
whom you can confide you secrets. A friend you
can learn on. He sure knows how to keep a
friendship going. And full of fun too! He is
known for all these, Mic-mic is.
