Yes, I know, they’re betraying me,
Still, the fool continues to live in me.

Because I fell in love
To whom I thought was the one
Whom I thought was my perfect guy
Bet then I realized he’s not even worth a

These things in life that go and come

Die A Thousand Deaths

Many times in
my life, I feel like I wanted to leave this
world. I tell myself, I can suffer no more. And I
must find a way to escape in this world, full of
miseries and failures. Oh yes, I know it’s
so wrong... wasting precious times just thinking
of how boring life is. Oftentimes, it’s
better to die once than to die a thousand deaths.
I’ve been like a fool for so many times
until suddenly, I met someone who comforted me
and let me feel triumphant in my own little way.
He showed a world… full of flowers and
beautiful views, and to my surprise, I saw myself
picking up the flowers one by one and putting
them in my pocket. And then, He approached me and
got all the flowers in my pocket. He then led me
in a way where there are so many hateful
insects… they are blocking my way and biting
me. And I saw my feet full of scars, that I
wanted to cry. And suddenly He said “My
child, it’s better to die once than to die a
thousand deaths without a cause. Life is so
precious, that its end must be something of real
value. And it could only happen, if you would
count the flowers you had picked, than cry about
your scars which conquer all your time and your
whole existence.” I looked up to Him and
asked Him eagerly “Who are you?” He
turned away with the words that struck my eyes
and melted my heart. He said, “I am your
shadow who would help you pick up al the flowers,
heal all the scars and vanish all the pains that
kill you a thousand times.” Then I followed
him, in a long and winding way, picking up all
the flowers and ignoring all those evil pests...
for I would only die once.
